Local Cannabis Ordinances

California's legal recreational marijuana is stumbling out of the gate. Local laws aren't in place and those in charge of making them aren't equipped to do so. Join us April 24 in West Hollywood to discuss what this means for local communities and cannabis industry professionals.

Elected officials and governmental agencies in all 482 cities and 58 counties in California are grappling with the same unavoidable task – to create local ordinances and regulations related to legal medical and recreational Marijuana. Many of the people tasked with this responsibility are, no matter how well intentioned, not equipped to make informed policy decisions on a subject they don’t know much about but one that does affect local communities and cannabis industry professionals.

We’re hosting a discussion on local ordinances at the Abbey in West Hollywood on April 24th from 6:30 – 9pm. Join cannabis professionals from around southern California to hear and share what is going on in our respective communities related to ordinances that affect cultivation, retail, manufacturing, testing and transportation.

Join us for this important conversation. Share your insights. Learn from others. Help develop an action plan to engage with and educate policy makers in your community. Network.
