A conversation on Draft Regulations 2.0, how they will affect your licensed cannabis business in 2019.

The permanent California cannabis regulations are (almost) here.

The Bureau of Cannabis Control, Department of Food and Agriculture and Department of Public Health all released their updated draft permanent regulations last week.

Regulations enthusiasts Jackie McGowan, Brett Hartmann-Payan, and Pam Epstein came to our underground Venice speakeasy to lead a conversation on Draft Regulations 2.0, how they will affect your licensed cannabis business, and to listen to your comments and concerns.

This event also served as a fundraiser for the (super) PAC Californians For Sensible Regulation of Adult Use (CSRAU).

CSRAU is a nonpartisan PAC representing cannabis consumers and stakeholders supporting the regulated cannabis industry in California. We intend to support locally elected officials and local candidates for elected office who are willing to pledge their support for permitting local access to the regulated cannabis market.

Proceeds from ticket sales went to CSRAU.

Speaking of political candidates, California State Senator and candidate for US Senate Kevin de Leon joined us for a bit.
